The Senior Class sponsored the Round-Up this semester. On Thursday, September 20, seniors met with Mrs Hopf to elect officers. Elected: Editor Doris Ochler, Assistant Editor Jerome Lange, Sports Editor James Tarr, Typist Janice Parker, Miscellaneous Kermit Strack Louis Lange Douglas Tatsch.
Harper School Cafeteria menus for October 22 through 26 list daily meals. Monday features roast with gravy and rice. Tuesday meat loaf and spaghetti. Wednesday fried chicken. Thursday meatballs. Friday salmon croquettes. Each day includes sides, fruit, bread, and milk.
The first district game of Harper against Center Point dominates Friday night with a football contest and a halftime crowning. Afterward the student council hosts gym entertainment and a band parade down Matin Street at 6 30 p m. Saturday October 20 the PTA holds its annual fall festival with barbecue supper at 5 00 p m and an 8 00 p m gym program to fund school improvements.
