A ninth thousand head of cattle shipped from New York headed to refugee farmers in West Germany as part of an inter faith Heifer Project effort. The organization has sent livestock to 28 countries, including 9 031 heifers and 449 sheep in its twelve year span.

Mr and Mrs Jess Parker were in Kerrville Thursday to visit children. Mr and Mrs Dennis Parker stayed with the Doyl Parkers Friday as Dennis helped Doyle shear lambs. Joe Morgan of California joined the Parkers over the weekend. Doyle Parker and daughter Janice with Ray Blerschwale and Rev Jesse Long traveled to Fredericksburg Wednesday for a Methodist Church meeting.
