Mr and Mrs Wesley Kielmann of Belton spent days this week visiting Mr and Mrs Gordon Harper and J M Scarber. Mr and Mrs Oren Parker and Mttleson were Harper visitors Wednesday. Mr and Mrs Pete Roeder of the home of Mr and Mrs Alf Sunday. Mr and Mrs Victor Marshall were business visitors in Harper Wednesday. Erato Hopf of Fort Sam Houston is spending days with his parents Mr and Mrs Oliver Hopf. Mr and Mrs Robert Schaffer and son visited relatives here during the weekend. Mr and Mrs Chester Feller of San Antonio were visitors here during the weekend. Mr and Mrs August Kirchhoff and Mr and Mrs Hubert Rake were Fredericksburg visitors.

Navy seeks four hundred chaplains by 1943 from eleven churches

Peter Kleck, 84, dies at home. long Texas family ties

Peter Kleck born July 10 1858 in Fredericksburg to John and Victoria Kleck dies Oct 13 1942 at his home aged 84 years 3 months 3 days. He married Bertha Pahl in 1882 at Boerne and Catherine Backer in 1919. Survived by many children grandchildren great grandchildren and three sisters. Funeral Saturday at Schachter's funeral home and St Marys church with Rev F X Wolf officiating. Interment in local Catholic cemetery.
