Miss Bryant notes 200,000 patriotic rural Texans have signed Victory Demonstrators pledge cards and will adjust to wartime needs. Consumers are urged to wear and repair existing shoes longer since army footwear uses much more leather than civilian oxfords. Eat it up, wear it out, make it do, and do without.
Sunday October 18 marks the conference year’s end with preaching at 11 AM. Dinner on the ground follows. Business meeting at 2:30 PM. Prayer meeting at 3 and 8. The pastor leaves for San Antonio Monday for the annual conference.
