Read This: Taylor on Education and Liberty Bell Warning
Mr Taylor argues the core problem is failure to require American history in colleges and schools. He warns that a government planned economy risks dictatorship by bureaucrats and urges understanding of American history to counter socialism. He recalls visiting Philadelphia and the cracked Liberty Bell as a symbol of warning for future generations.

Stonewall Liquor Store Robbed
The Hahne Package Store at Stonewall was robbed Thursday night with losses estimated at 400 to 450 dollars. Sheriff Bob Loth investigated Friday morning, noting this as the county's second burglary since Monday, with only high class whiskeys stolen and entry made by prying the front door open. An earlier break in at Fredericksburg Farmers Grain yielded only tools and a tarpaulin, and a separate attempt at the Stonewall store occurred last Saturday without entry.
