Heifers for Relief Ships Cattle to Aid Undernourished Abroad
In cooperation with the Economic Cooperation Administration the group Heifers for Relief plans to ship about 1200 milk cows to Germany to aid undernourished children. Most donations come from church agencies, including a recent shipment from Mennonite churches of Oregon. The effort, with Church World Service, also ships goats to southern Korea to meet similar needs.
