Mr and Mrs Archie Lennon and children visited Harper on Wednesday evening Our Mr and Mrs August Kirchhoff and daughter Miss Helen and Mrs Hubert Rahe and son Lorenz were shopping in Fredericksburg on Wednesday
Jimmie Monteleone and Wallace Cataldo of Randolf Field called on Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Phillips over the weekend. P. F. Jones and Walter Parker traveled to San Antonio on business Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bierschwale and son Harper were visitors Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Kinsey and two children Joe Atin and Dale Scott visited J. S. Whitewood’s home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Hopf accompanied Max Hopf to Temple Monday for medical help.
Mr and Mrs Floyd Casper and son Ed L and Mr and Mrs Roy Stevens with daughter dined with Mr and Mrs J F Wedekind and daughter Saturday. Also visitors were Mr and Mrs Wm Wolf and Miss Elane Joy of Roosevelt at the Wedekind home recently.
Mrs. John Lott nee Katherina Jordan born November 4 1868 in Gillespie county died June 28 1942 aged 83 years 7 months 24 days. She married John Lott July 25 1876 who preceded her in death July 28 1839. Surviving children Willie Kerrville Henry Lott Lott Texas August Lott Morris Ranch Lena Mrs Otto Meurer Anna Mrs Wm Lindemann Comfort Arthur Lott Harper diga Mrs Vernon Stephens Kerrville Bertha Mrs Herman Weirich Berkeley California Hilmar Lott Harper also 34 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren one sister Mrs Wm Langerhans and other relatives. Services were held Tuesday morning at Beckmanns funeral home and at St Marys church Father Wolf officiating Interment in Catholic cemetery.
John Dittmar born February 20 1877 in Cherry Spring died June 28 1942 at 65 years. Hulda Kroll his widow survived with many children and grandchildren. Funeral led by Rev Bergner Rev Becker and Rev Probst. interment Doss family cemetery. Henry Kammlah born February 7 1869 died June 24 1942 at 73 years. Amalia Leyendecker his wife preceded him. Surviving children and five grandchildren. services led by Rev O Lindenberg with Concordia singing. burial in city cemetery. subscription note appears.
