The Round-Up editors reporters and staff extend a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with seasonal greetings. The message names editors assistants and reporters including Brown Wienecke Strackbein Mebracht Dittmar and Typist Edith Typist and Censor free.

The month included one fatality on U S Highway 87 near Fredericksburg and other incidents across Gillespie Kendall Mason Menard Kimble counties with varying injuries and damage. Speed too fast for conditions.
County Agent C A Stone outlines a balanced swine ration focusing on carbohydrates protein minerals and vitamins. Grains listed include sorghums corn oats and barley with sorghums equal to corn in value. He notes barley is 85 90 percent as efficient as corn and milo and stresses protein supplementation with animal and plant sources.
