Steamboat Youth Dies After Hunting Accident
Leo Stull age 17 of Steamboat Rock died in Clarion hospital yesterday morning after a duck hunting accident on Wall Lake Sunday. He was wounded in the right side when a gun fell from a boat seat as he and two friends polled toward a shot duck. Stull’s condition had improved and was listed as fair before death. Funeral arrangements are pending at Andrle Creps Funeral Home. His father Edward Stull serves as foreman of the Hardin County Grand Jury.

Cpl Wallis Body to Arrive in Eldora Sunday
Mr and Mrs Paul Wallis of Eldora received word that Cpl James L Wallis Hardin countys first Korean war casualty will arrive Sunday. Final rites will be held Tuesday at the Congregational church with Rev Ralph Inets officiating. The body escorted by Sgt First Class Marion L departed from Oakland California yesterday by train and will be interred in the Eldora cemetery family plot.

Final Rites Held For Mrs. Benbow
Funeral services for 86 year old Lizzie Benbow were held at Biershorn Funeral Home with Rev. B. A. Harris officiating. Interment followed in Bangor cemetery. She died Saturday after a two and a half month illness. Born in Marshall county on March 3 1867 she was married to Elain Benbow in 1897. Surviving are two daughters Zeta Davis and Verona Paul, a son Milton, 12 grandchildren and a sister Myrtle Taber. Built as a Friends Church birthright member.
