Pine Lake Park Historic CCC Camp Created In Eldora
The Eldora Herald Ledger notes Park No. 1762 chosen for a CCC camp near Eldora Iowa. A 533 acre park includes two lakes about 72 acres total, 75 acre lake creation, trails rustic bridges lodge cottages fish for stocking and natural surroundings. Prominent locals James K Hall and Eugene Boeke helped, Iowa officials supported.
