Open House Honors Mr and Mrs Otto Golden Wedding
Mr and Mrs William Otto Sr celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with 300 guests at St John s Lutheran Hubbard. Granddaughter Glytis Otto led the guest book as family hosted a worship service and program with Craig Otto singing How Great Thou Art and Rev Thomas Wegener delivering a short sermonette. A fellowship hall program featured GUI Otto Jr as master of ceremonies. Centerpieces of yellow roses and carnations adorned the serving table, as relatives from Minneapolis Nebraska Kentucky Town Falls Eldora Waterloo Des Moines Radcliffe Dows New Hampton Hubbard Humboldt Steamboat Rock Popejoy Webster City attended. The couple wed February 20, 1924 at the home of A H Janke. Attendants were Mrs John Pieper and Carl Otto. A family dinner followed.
