Tonight the basketball teams travel to Colo for a season finale away game. On Wednesday the 15th the junior high presents plays One Happy Family Grandma YFixes Things Life O The Party at 7 30 p m for the Band Boosters. On Friday the 17th fathers and some faculty will play the girls team to raise funds for the March of Dimes admission small to support a worthy cause.

Gordon Jay Pixler, a 6 foot 4 inch sophomore, weighs 190 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Born February 7, 1941, he enjoys basketball, likes pink and black, ice cream and cake, and dislikes tightwads. He has attended Mesa Aziz and Steamboat Rock schools and says his view of school is I hate it.
The senior class voted on a gardenia as the class flower and peach and forest green as the colors after committee chairman Bonnie Pierson presented the report. Their motto chosen earlier in the year is The Road of Toll Leads to the City of Success. The group is also preparing the yearbook and learning about income tax for students earning over 600 dollars.
Seven junior and senior students practice for the upcoming speech contest on Saturday February 11 at Iowa Falls under Invector Mrs Strampe. Representing Steam boat Rack in four divisions are David Aster in oratorial Shirley Kruse Ronald Rieken Pat Luiken in humorous and Phyllis Bell in dramatics. An entered one act play October Fog was shown to the public and at Hubbard festival Shirley Kruse Bonnie Pierson Phyllis Bell Alle Jaspers perform in October Fog.
The Steamboat Rock basketball teams travel Tuesday to hear ing and host Cabo an Cole on Friday for warmup games before facing Union-Whittten in the boys sectional at Alden. The Rockettes, who lost to Wellsburg in the sectional, plan to build with next year’s team while the girls gain experience.
Students produce transport and clothing books with boys focusing on transportation and girls on clothing. This week also includes making maps of the UY.
