In One Happy Family the Oberstateer family includes Mrs Oberstateer Mary Last and Emmy Lou played by Marilyn Saint. Willie Roger Gast Henry George Luiken and Charlotte Havens portrayals cover the family. Judy Pierson portrays Arabelle the youngest daughter and Larry Eisentrager plays Harry Stevens who loves Emmy. The last play Life at the Party features Lenore Preston and a large cast including Jane Daleske Alice and Joyce Freese with Brockton Leffingwell, Stoddard Nalker played by Edward Bear and others. The junior high looks back with pride on a successful production and a large guest list among family and friends.
Miss Helen Page and Eugene Mayer presented an assembly program on Tuesday morning performing songs readings and a scene from Blithe Spirit The act included Three Little Fishes Albert and the Lion and an original piano piece An Imitation Of A Music Box They tour middle western schools in Iowa Illinois Indiana and Missouri calling the visit a new but enjoyable experience This was the seventh such program this year and the audience hoped for more similar shows.
Tonight the girls basketball team plays their fathers for the Teen Age Polio Campaign fundraiser. Everyone invited for an enjoyable evening. Monday the 20th the boys Union-Whitten meet at 7 p.m. for the first game of the boys sectional tournament held at Alden.
