Annual Leadership Workshop at Hanover October 21
The annual Leadership Workshop, themed The Problems and Possibilities of Leadership at Hanover, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Long Gym ballroom. Open to all, the program includes three short talks by Dr. James Ferguson Chip Hixson and Dr. Harve Pawson, a refreshment break, and small discussion groups.

Motz Crowned Queen At Hanover Homecoming Pep Rally
Joanne Motz was crowned queen at Hanover College Homecoming 1967 events planned by Linda Dills and Fred Wolfred. Morgan Field hosted the pep rally after the Homecoming Parade with Dr. Dutch Struck as guest speaker. Soul Inc will provide music for the all school dance in the Campus Center after the rally.

Plan Amendments Endorsed In 17 Minute Senate Meeting
In a 17 minute Senate session on Wednesday the faculty amendments to the Plan for Student Discipline were unanimously approved with no debate. Decisions included appointing heads for the student judicial board ad hoc committee and noting procedural issues for bringing motions to the floor. Non senators were urged to contact senators rather than speak directly in meetings. Bruce Werber cited by laws on ad hoc committee appointments. no action taken to confirm Hixson’s appointed members. Campus Center Board will resubmit its constitution after review and possible revisions following Senate input.

Glen L Bonsett dean of men reports to President Chip Hixson that in a recent Student Senate meeting 30 senators spoke 33 times while six non senators spoke 37 times. Bonsett notes four elected senators held 21 of the 33 total talks, twelve senators spoke 30 times and 18 others only three times.

The Campus Center Board discussed charging outsiders for movie admission at Parker Auditorium due to dealer contracts.
