Muskie To Speak At Commencement

Senator Edmund S. Muskie of Maine will deliver the commencement address Sunday, June 4. He is a Bates College and Cornell Law School graduate and a 1959 Senate member after 1955 governorship. He chairs or serves on several committees including Government Operations and Public Works.

College Sets Summer Upgrades Brighten Campus Lighting

College plans major lighting and utility upgrades for 1967-68. Eighteen new heads will raise illuminate levels on campus, replacing older units and upgrading Classic and Goodrich corridors. Parking lot light standards and physics lab lighting will improve. A new well doubles pumping capacity, operating by September. Classic Hall work begins after graduation.

Senator Birch Bayh will join the Urbanization and Changing Values institute in Hanover May 23 25. Other guests include Martin Marty Walter Weiskopf and David Ramage with Susie Northam and Roger Brinkman co chairs. Interested parties may contact the co chairs to work on the program.
