State Applies Thumb Screw To Hanover State
The Indiana State Revenue Department announced that all sales of tangible personal property by colleges and universities are subject to the 2 percent sales tax. The regulation instructs colleges to collect tax on book stores food services room and board rentals of housing and unions rentals for 30 days or less. It also tax es sales by student groups at events and purchases for student auxiliary activities.

Van Leeuwen Publishes Book in History of Ideas Series
Hanover College reports Dr Henry Van Leeuwen has revised his 1961 doctoral thesis into a published monograph in the International Archives of the History of Ideas. Martinus Nijhoff, The Hague, released The Problem of Certainty in English Thought 1630 1690, with preface by Richard H Popkin. The work examines 17th century England theology science philosophy and attitudes of Bacon Newton and Locke.
