Twelve Letters Awarded At Football Banquet

Coach Miles hosted the 1917 football squad of twenty eight at the Nighbert Club for a banquet ending a season noted for odds faced and growth. Capt Manaugh and eleven others received letters with ten more likely to return next year.

Interclass basketball schedule announced for week after Thanksgiving

The interclass series will run three days starting Monday after Thanksgiving. Freshmen boast Shrader Culbertson Montgomery Morse Sharp and guards Watts Horn Sutherland Hufford. Sophomores rely on Paulus Huntley Hollmeyer McNulty and several second year players. Juniors show Montgomery Harmon as core with Budd Manaugh Pinkey McNulty. Seniors feature Budd Manaugh and Pinkey McNulty as nucleus.

Hanover Reunion at German House in Indianapolis

Hanover alumni gathered Monday night at the German House in Indianapolis for a Red and Blue party. Most attendees were recent graduates, with three travelers from Fort Benjamin Harrison. The event strengthened college ties and friendship among the group and left participants with renewed affection for their alma mater. Attendees included Minnie Branham, Eloise Millis, Mrs. Lee Hart, Gladys Cox, Marie Rapp, Martha Terrill ex, Frank Montgomery, Coulter Montgomery, Russell Kehoe, Lee Hart, and A. H. W. Losche.

Patriotic Service Held in Church on Thursday

Church services for Thanksgiving Day featured a patriotic tone with faculty members and Dr Ballard reading famous Revolutionary utterances. The Hanover band offered patriotic music and lingered after the hour service ended.

Dramatic Club Names Cast for Great Divide

The Dramatic Club announces the cast for Great Divide under Professor Souter and Mr Doddridge. Fourteen named roles include Stephen Ghent, Philip Jordan, Justus Huntley Wintrop Newberry, Ruth Jordon, Polly Jordon, Mrs Jordon, and Frieda Schelke with others. The group plans the performance before exam week with new scenery under Wright and the Art Committee.
