The Sophomores defeated the Seniors 44 to 22 to clinch undisputed interclass honors after a fast series on the Hanover floor. Freshmen routed Juniors 30 to 16 as the tournament pressured all four classes across Monday to Wednesday.
Fletcher N Hufford and Ira S Allison, Hanover graduates, serve at Camp Taylor with Hufford commissioned at Ft Harrison and Allison working as Army Y M C A secretary. Freshman star Henry Montgomery shows potential, with Shrader and Paulus shining in later games as sophomores and juniors battle for varsity spots amid shifting guard and forward positions.
Hanover boys beat Madison 56 to 13 as C Van Antwerp scored 16 baskets and Manaugh aided throughout. Madison girls toppled Hanover 10 to 5. Referee McNulty officiated. about 200 spectators expect a closer rematch. Freshman Captain A Cuchedson and Manager JG Hufford elected.
