Military training gains traction at Hanover as cadets embrace drills with few dropping out. Lieuteneant Cope of Madison returns Monday afternoon to fine tune the line and lecture on realism of service. Dr. Carl Henning continues to assist, while Robert J. Hanover College to face St. Xavier on Tuesday
Hanover College baseball meets St. Xavier's College Cincinnati next Tuesday in the first ever matchup. After a week without a game the squad trains hard, led by captain Culley returning at short. Senior Prep Track Meet Shows Academy Talent
The Academy held its first inter class track and field meet over two days with Jas. Van Antwerp scoring 40 points to lead. Pud Sutherland close behind with 35 and Archer Culbertson third with 13. Event results include Sutherland winning several sprints and Van Antwerp placing top in most events as the team plans further dual meets for spring.

Strongheart staged before Hanover audience in college play
The Dramatic Club presented Strongheart to a packed Hanover crowd after four tries. Professor Souter trained the cast for a polished production with standout performances by Sylvester Paulus as Strongheart and Jess Crutcher as Dorothy Nelson. Other notable roles included Robert Wright as Thorne and Mildred McKenna and Justice Huntley in key parts.
