Plans Take Shape For Annual May Little 500
The May Bike Race known as Hanover’s Little 500 is set for May 15 with six four member teams from five fraternities and Crowe Blythe Wiley. Chairmen Bettcher and Frick met with division coordinators to finalize plans, appoint queens, and organize committees. A special guest and queen candidates remain to be chosen, with Roger Ward last year’s guest. Awards will honor winning team, best rider, and outstanding cheering unit. pole position goes to fastest four lap time and a pacer starts the 100 lap relay.

Five Week Term Plans At Hanover World College
Hanover World College outlines a five week term with field trips across disciplines. Women’s Physical Education staff Miss Knierim and Miss Waser will lead two trips to Bradford Woods and the Smoky Mountains for hands on outdoor education and community studies. The program also includes a New York United Nations study trip for political science students under Dr. Glenn Mower Jr.

Forensics Fraternity Initiates Judy Hinchman at DSR TKA
Judy Hinchman will be initiated into Delta Sigma Rho Tau Kappa Alpha at the National Conference of DSR TKA held at Indiana University. Hanover representatives include Ted Hill Shirley Bryant Henry Hamman Ted Lester and Dr. Stanley Wheater. The three day event limits attendance to Monday night. Judy has held multiple forensics roles and meets eligibility by two years of debate and top 35 percent class rank.
