Canada Savings Bonds New issue planned this fall

Ottawa minister announces Series 44 CSBs to be offered this fall with cash purchases starting October 19 and a last face-value sale November 1. New bonds dated November 1 1989 have 12 year terms and accrue interest monthly. Regular and compound options, payroll plan availability, limits on denominations, and reinvestment provisions for maturing Series 37 noted.
