Lions and community drive fundraisers and support projects
The Hamiota Lions report contributions to the Marquis Project totaling 250 dollars with matching funds from Lions Foundation. They pledge 200 dollars to the Marquis Project and note other actions including 9-1-1 address updates, potato restocking, and upcoming birthday calendars with a local railroad photo. The World Series outcome is referenced, and Lions recognize Don Mennie’s 30 years of service. The group plans a poker night and the Journey for Light raffle, with tickets available from several Lions officers.
