The Manitoba Crown Attorney's Office advised Winnipeg Police that affixing stickers to licence plates is not a chargeable offense if readability remains intact and the plate remains identifiable as Manitoba. The Hamiota Huskies Intermediate Hockey Team prepare for the 1996-97 season set to begin in early November. A strong community push, financially aided by the successful 100 Club, funded a previous deficit and now returns with season tickets, score board squares, and home program ads. New leadership and several returning veterans bolster the roster as exhibition games proceed in Souris and Deloraine ahead of the Nov 8 home opener.
