Manitoba Youth Choir well worth the trip
Manitoba Youth Choir of 25 students aged 18 to 25 traveled 1100 kilometers across Manitoba for a five day tour. The group performed in Virden Neepawa Rivers Brandon Souris Wawanesa Morden and Winnipeg with a finale at St Andrews United Church. Local sponsors supported the trip and new works by Craig Cassius and Bill Derkson were premiered.

The Rural Municipality of Woodworth council met in Kenton on May 4 1992 at 7:30 p.m. Reeve Robert B. Hunter presided with Councillors Bell Elder Hodson Logan and Smith in attendance. Motions included approving April 14 minutes second and third readings of Budget By-Law 9/92 designating Harding Fair as a main 1992 event, approving a $2500 partial payment for ravine crossing work, widening the Johnston Cairn approach, purchasing an extra propane tank and tiger torch for the Fire Department, and adjournment on vote of the Reeve.
