Obituaries for Meyers, Ted and Mabel in Manitoba notice

Obituary notices report Mary Ida Meyers of Oakville Ontario died March 16, 1992 age 84. Funeral at Brockie Donovan Bran don March 21 with interment Arrow River Cemetery and donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation. Also memorials for James Edward Ted McLean aged 79 who died March 12 1992 at Holy Cross Hospital. Survived by wife Beatrice, children Betty Don Don, Bob Heather, David, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, with extended family and past occupations. Memorial service held March 14 at Calgary Crematorium Chapel. Also notice for Mabel Stowe nee Weidenhamer died March 12 1992 in her 101st year at Birch Lodge Hamiota Manitoba. Memorials noted for family references.

Mabel Weidenhamer Stowe born April 11 1891 Elmira Ontario taught in Omar Minnesota 1910 married John Stowe in 1914 raising six plus adopted child. Remembered for church service reuse ethic and crafts with quilts sacks mittens and Scrabble. Survived by children Norma Donald Edwin Alma Dora Sharon John Muriel 22 grandchildren 27 great grandchildren and many relatives. Funeral in Miniota United Church March 16 1992 Rev Michael Wilson officiating. Laid to rest beside husband John.
