It records visits from Sandra Drummond and Pam Carter, trips to Brandon and Winnipeg, and plans for a working holiday in Germany. The column also notes Effie Drummond at the funeral of William Vallender of Oak Lake, social calls, and a Lion's Club Bingo winner Edna Nolan. A poem titled Methuselah finishes the piece.
