Miniota Ice Review Celebrates 20th Circus Theme
The Miniota Figure Skating Club staged its 20th Anniversary Circus Ice Review on February 20 1987 with Sylvia Hanlin as MC. Beginners dressed as circus animals opened the show led by Lion Tamer Linda Mitchell, followed by balloon carriers, trapeze acts, majorettes, power skaters and dancing poodles. Guest skaters from nearby towns performed solos, and awards honored most improved skater and power skater while trophies donated in memory of Leslie Angell were presented.
