Public Relations Committee Meeting for Municipal Centennial
The Echo reports a February 25 1983 Municipal Centennial Public Relations Committee meeting at the Municipal Office with eleven members present. Ivan Lawrence presided. Minutes from January 10 1983 were adopted. Shirley Richardson reported souvenir sales and ordered more pins spoons and name tags. The Ceramics committee seeks storage space. Kay Grant noted a Brandon trip and deliveries from local shops. 33 registrations and meal tickets were noted for carnival weekend with a May 1 1983 supper RSVP. A plan for 500 more place mats with a municipal map was discussed.
