Miniota News Highlights Family Visits Births And Local Events

Jack and Mary Reynolds visited relatives at Oak Lake with Verna Reynolds returning to Alix Alberta. Leonard Gertz and Lorna welcomed a daughter Lindsay Dale born February 28 at Brandon Hospital weighing 6 lbs 13 oz. Charlie Bryant is a patient at Hamiota Hospital. T.O.P.S. group in Miniota reports 44 enrollments, 25 average. They challenged Elkhorn T.O.P.S. to three months weight loss. Miniota won and enjoyed a turkey dinner in Elkhorn on February 15. Pat Dales golf round on February 28 noted.

Parkissimo Lodge Guests and Farm Visit Report

Parkissimo Lodge records a Sunday evening visit by Anita Stowe of Calgary Pat Stowe of Winnipeg and Krista Stowe of McAuley. Friday Mabel had dinner at the farm and with Alma met Edna Douglas of Pioneer Lodge in Birtle. Elise and Jack Rollo donated a 2 by 2 painting of a summer river scene for the lodge.
