Farewell held for Lloyd and Clara Stewart

On July 12 a group of Decker friends and former Decker residents gathered at Lloyd and Clara Stewart’s home to wish them well on retirement to Brandon. Their daughter Beth and granddaughter Chelsey had arrived from Jamaica, with Maureen of Brandon also home. Kyla and Stacey Wilson pinned corsages as Ray Lints spoke of forty years of community service. Gerry Wilson gave a gift of a crystal vase with a money tree, and the gathering included a long reminiscing period followed by a bounteous lunch and coffee. The Stewart family will be missed and were invited to visit when possible.
