No Smoking Policy Sparks Staff Community Debate
Readers criticize Riverdale Health Services for a unilateral move to a permanent no smoking rule at a 17 bed hospital, noting staff input was excluded, a smoke room request was ignored, and residents in the 20 bed personal care home should have rights. The letter urges broader staff and community involvement and concerns about patient comfort and fairness.
