Exchange trainee recall of six months on an Ireland grain farm
A Canadian trainee describes six months on an Ireland grain farm in 1984 through the International Agricultural Exchange Assoc. He stayed with two brothers farming 313 acres, learned intensive methods, and saw high barley yields. He toured Europe during holidays, returned to Canada for harvest, and plans to apply the ideas at home. He credits the IAEA and lists contact in Kenton, Manitoba.
