Hamiota Council approves sewer water bylaw and hires staff
The December 15 1982 council minutes show By law 20/82 first reading setting minimum water sewer charges at 29.00 per unit, 50/50 cost share with Manitoba Water Services Board for 400 ft sewer and 400 ft water lines along PTH 21, a 4 year utility reserve by law, and fire department equipment orders including two pagers. Council disallowed a district compressor reserve and kept 1983 indemnities steady, with library bookmobile plans and hall caretakers.
