Hamiota School Band Parents Hold January Meeting
HAMIOTA The Hamiota School Band parents meeting on January 10 in the Collegiate drew nine members. Mrs. Jan Dixon chaired as discussion covered new uniforms instruments summer engagements and the fruit project. A fruit program continues with last year prices and orders due January 28. A uniform committee was formed and suggestions are welcome. The band plans to visit Miniota on July 9. Mr. Gibson praised the band’s performance and urged better attendance and more performance opportunities.

Autopac Renewal Notices Include Higher No Fault Limits
Manitoba motorists will soon receive renewal applications for vehicle registration and insurance. About 650000 renewals will be mailed. Effective March 1, Autopac raises No Fault benefits and sets minimum Third Party Liability to 200 000 dollars, up from 100 000. Mail-in deadline is February 14. 90th Birthday for Mrs. Charlotte Watt in Brandon
Mrs. Charlotte Watt celebrated her 90th birthday on December 7 1982 with a come and go tea at the West End Community Centre Brandon.
