Manitoba sports year in review and award chatter
The writer surveys 1962 Manitoba sports highlights and award talk. He notes Sorenson as top female athlete, Gretzky as top male athlete, the Eskimos as Team of the Year, and debates local choices for Best Male and Female athletes plus the Good Guy Award. He hints the Manitoba association may overlook out of town stars and recalls Ray Jauch and Earl Lunsford events shaping the year.
