Hospital District Hamiota By-laws Seek Hospital Expansion
By laws in Hamiota and neighboring rural municipalities receive first and second readings to expand and renovate Hamiota District Hospital. The plan funds a $370,500 project with $20,500 in hand and a maximum $350,000 debenture loan. Boarded by Hamiota Village, Blanshard, Miniota, and Woodworth, assessments and mill rates determine each municipality’s share, with elections planned March 1971 to approve the scheme.
