Oak River considers improved water and waste plans
Oak River residents favor better water as surveys show broad support. The Unincorporated Village District meets January 15 with the town foreman in attendance. Indemnities for councillors and the foreman’s wages share are approved. The foreman will attend the February 17 water and waste water seminar and weekly garbage collection continues with dumpsters in the recycling shed. About 30 surveys indicate demand for improved water and a 500 bag recycling program is approved.
