The eight member Manitoba Pool Elevators board elected C H Swanson of Brookdale Manitoba as its tenth president and chairman, succeeding W J Strath. Ken Edie of Dugald became first vice president and Bill Corbett of Benito was re elected as second vice president. Elections closed the 65th annual delegates meeting. Swanson has served as director for district 6 since 1980 and has been active in cooperative farming and policy groups. Manitoba Pool Elevators is a large agricultural co op with about 18 000 members and extensive grain elevators, terminal storage, and livestock operations.
