Constitutional task force established
Manitoba Premier Gary Filmon announces an all party Manitoba Constitutional Task Force chaired by Wally Fox-Decent to build on Meech Lake work. The seven member panel will explore Senate reform the amending process and division of powers and will hold early 1991 hearings with interim report by March.
