New playground project at Hamiota Elementary School
Hamiota Elementary School earns a 15000 grant from Manitoba Community Services to fund a new playground started November 14 and completed November 16. Builders include Bill Cumming Allan Smith Dale Brooks Todd Brown Brian Taylor Allan Mathison and Ian Anderson. Thanks are given to Redfern Farm Services Tim Weber and staff for equipment and support along with Gregory Sand and Gravel for sand deliveries.

Crandall Community Meeting Sees Low Turnout and Budget Changes
Crandall annual meeting on November 22 drew only nine members. Rent rates shift for winter and summer, water tank fill cost set at 25.00, repairs planned for hall, coat room renovation by Doug Long, and Old Time Dances planned for early 1991. Christmas Party scheduled for December 16 at 5 p.m. Residents urged to attend.

Kraftsmen Meet Sets Dates and Plans
Kenton Kraftsmen held a general meeting November 17 at Kenton School. The Achievement date was set for May 4 at Kenton School. Members thanked for baking and cheese sales at the November 3 Flea Market. A club bonspiel is planned for January 20 and the Christmas Party for December 12. The next meeting will be December 12.
