Manitoba Children's Museum Breaks Ground in Winnipeg
Jobs Fund chair Eugene Kostyra attended a wall-breaking ceremony on November 18 to launch renovations at 109 Pacific Avenue Winnipeg. Aimed at interactive exhibits, the project received a 75000 grant through the Manitoba Community Assets program with renovations including washrooms workshops offices and display areas. The museum eye opens in June 1986 featuring North America’s first operational grain elevator display and promises educational yet playful experiences for youth.
