Manitoba approves $50 million bond issue for Jobs Fund
Finance Minister Vic Schroeder announces Manitoba will sell 50 million dollars in bonds maturing November 27, 1995. Denominated in Canadian dollars, the bonds bear 10.5 percent annual coupons with a 9.845 percent cost to the government. Proceeds fund Jobs Fund programs, issued privately via Industrial Bank of Japan Canada and Richardson Greenshields Canada.

Pilot trainees near completion amid fall activity
Five of six pilots completed training with good flight test marks while one student paused to work at home and plans to resume at Virden later. The group ordered jackets crests and several members bought aircraft for summer use. Len and Marion Morgan expanded Morgan Air Services with another plane for sightseeing or charter work. Spring will bring renewed activity and the author thanks supporters and Morgan Air Services for summer help, with another report to follow.

Free electricity for municipal ornamental lighting
