Miniota Centenni al Parade and Cairn Dedication Highlights
The Miniota centennial celebration featured a long parade with floats and vintage vehicles, a six horse team demonstration, and a Cairn unveiling at the Municipal Office. Officials included Reeve J Hanlin, MP Pete Adams, and MLA Harry Graham, with a Manitoba government centennial grant and a time capsule placed in the cairn. A helicopter display by the Ranger Team and a beard growing contest capped the afternoon with prizes awarded to top contestants.
