Health Centre News on blood pressure screening findouts

The Hamiota Health Centre reports 252 people checked for blood pressure at fairs and sports days. Sixty four, or 25 percent, had abnormal readings and were advised to see their family physician. 55 came from outside the Health Centre District. Pamphlets were available and readers were urged to monitor heart health in hot weather. The note ends with a reminder that the heart does not rest in summer.
