Hamiota Health Auxiliary marks 30th anniversary

The Women’s Auxiliary to Hamiota Health Centre met March 28 in the Board Room with 16 districts represented. Ruth McConnell presided as the group celebrated 30 years, heard a congratulatory note from the first president, and discussed finances, donations, and upcoming events including a spring tea, a bake sale, and Canada Hospital Day. Plans for a $1.4 million renovation and new personal care facility were outlined by Mr. Sheardown, with the group committing to support the project.
