Cox Leads Democrats in Montgomery County Victory

Dayton Nov 9 approximately 1 000 votes cast in Montgomery County gave the Democratic ticket sweeping majorities from 1 600 to about 5 000. Cox led the ticket with a 5 581 majority on 204 precincts and Warren Gurd appears re elected in the Third Ohio district by about 10 000. Several county officials and state positions listed with the lone Republican being the county treasurer. Advertised letter list and postmaster notices follow.

Runaway Boys Reported By Father On Way To Lawrenceburg

James Whipple reports his son Frank and ally George Abbott took his automobile and two shotguns after a Wednesday afternoon 4 o'clock incident. The pair, aged about fourteen, were believed heading toward Lawrenceburg Indiana to relatives. A late Wednesday message reached Lawrenceburg, and the youths were intercepted and placed under arrest. Ingle scheduled a juvenile court appearance Thursday morning.
