Oxford residents gathered for a university auditorium program featuring Allan Wheeler baritone and a varied musical lineup. The event included selections by Bizet and Schubert, with the Selby club and Commons providing performances. Amid ties and extra time, Ashton’s group edged Selby for the win. city notables Howard Harley and Robert Hughes were noted attendees and visitors.
Sophia Limburg and John Risel accepted Hamilton merchants' offer to wed at the Butler county fair grounds aviation meet. The couple, both Cincinnati residents, will marry aboard an air display plane at 4 o clock Saturday with Mayor Strand officiating. They have long been sweethearts and plan a reception in Cincinnati after the ceremony.

The U S House voted 222 to 0 with Representative Parr the sole dissenter to adopt thir teen articles of impeachment against Judge Robert W Archbald former district judge of the U S Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania now a commerce court judge The House appointed managers from several states to present the case in the Senate and authorized expenses for the impeachment proceeding to be conducted in Trumblae.
A local missing word contest resumes with the prize increasing to $2.00 after no correct entries. Words omitted include Brains from Taytillon Business College, Bargains from The Hawilton Trading Co., Jourain from Mie West Side Seeford, and Hail Stare.
Catherine Luke Biscopink wife of Joseph J. Biscopink of 215 Chestnut Street died at 10 o'clock Friday morning at the home of her sister Mrs Bernard Wiggins 299 Walnut Street of complications aged 4 years 10 months 24 days. She was Catholic and a member of St Marys Church and affiliated with parish societies. She is survived by her widower and one daughter. Funeral arrangements set for St Marys Church Monday morning.
George W Phillips and wife hosted another pleasant infernal reception at the Paulus of the First Baptist church. A new feature introduced in the program dash a page in which weekly current events local national international were compiled by Ross Crim and proved very interesting. The murder of guests from other churches is noted at these gatherings, with general invitations extended irrespective of religion. The purpose is to offer healthful pleasure and entertainment to both young people and adults in the community.
The Tadies Auxiliary of Aura Sari Lodge No. 31 held a pleasant meeting Wednesday. Seven members were installed and officers were installed for the term. Names include President Pantine Plapp and Vice President Tena Miller with other officers listed. Three more initiations planned at the next meeting.
