Washington reports a top government source says big business may remove golf players from managerial posts. Observers note golfers perform worse than non golfers and cite signs of business deterioration under golfing leaders. Claims extend to England as well with no local citation of names or dates.
Richard Croker former Tammany leader arrived aboard the St Louis in New York expressing admiration for Wilson and noting his notes to Germany kept the country from war. He appears younger and said he will stay about a week in the city before moving to Palm Beach for the winter.
