Goodwin Case to Go to January Grand Jury
Maton Ohio December 2. The October grand jury, not discharged, will not hear the surcer charge against John Goodwin accused of killing his neighbor Samuel Decker. The case will be taken up by the January term of the common pleas court. The January grand jury will be drawn soon and convene January 8. Goodwin has been jailed in Dayton since Decker’s death last September. Preble County lacks a county prison.
