Miss Willa A Osborn proprietor of a dry goods and grocery store was robbed on Saturday night as she walked from her shop to her North Poplar street home near the Methodist Episcopal church automobile lights from a nearby car reassured her but a small man in dark clothes grabbed a basket and escaped. She believed he sought money but her cash was in the basket not the wallet. No one injured. There is no show at the Oxford today. A well known Hamilton figure W. W. Man of Xenia Ohio was arrested by secret service operatives in Louisville charged with passing raised bills on Rol Motor Company. The case stems from a July 27 deal when Man traded in his car for $260, with claims three 1 Dilla notes altered to $10 and a $2 bill changed to a note. Man says he did not know the bills were altered. He remains jailed.
